In January 2019 members of the Korczak Association met with Professors Roza Valevna and her husband Agzam Valeeva at Marcia Talmage Schneider’s home for a chat and dinner. Out of that meeting came Agzam’s commitment to translate Marcia’s book, Janusz Korczak Sculptor of Children’s Souls into Russian. With the help of Roza, the book was published and presented at the 7th International Forum on Teacher Education in Kazan in May of 2021. Marcia was able to speak via Zoom to the audience of a few hundred teachers and her book was sent to libraries of universities in Russia that have department of education.
